 CHAPTER 1

Before The Journey

I finished my dinner on Sunday night and my Dad came to my room and asked me again, "do you want to serve as an apprentice for that man?". Yes, Dad, I replied nodding my head in agreement. Hmmm all I'm saying is that this journey you are about to embark on is not an easy one so that you will not go there and Waste your time without achieving your goal, he motioned... don't worry dad I will complete my service and come out successfully.

Please my dear Son, just be careful in everything you do over there, remember where you are coming from and how we have trained you to be responsible, don't fail to make us proud and we'll continue to pray for you okay? Yes sir!, I responded, while he left to his room to sleep. I brought out the few clothes I have and parked them into my bags getting them ready for tomorrow's journey over to my master's place. and after that, I said a few words of prayer and slept off that night.

In the morning after preparations, my siblings came one after the other to give me a missing warm hug, tears began to roll down my cheek, I knew am gonna Miss them a lot, but I couldn't help it myself, because am already determined to embark on the journey. Not too long after attending to my siblings, my mom's phone rang, she picked up her phone to answer it, oh! Robbie, your master's wife is calling, are you sure they haven't changed their mind on your arrival today? "My mom said," That's not possible mom, just answer the call, she might be calling to know if I will still be coming over. "I responded". So she answered the call while I went inside to bring out my luggage. Your prediction was right Robbie, she asked me if you have gone out already, "my mom said to me". I knew it, and am already late mom. "I replied at once". Just then, my Dad came out fully dressed up and requested for my departure while he escorts me to a distance. I waved to my mom and siblings assuring them that I will come back successfully.

After a long escort from my dad, he left me while I entered a taxi and my journey began. within myself, I was thinking hardly concerning what am going to face over there. All this rich man stuff sef, how am I even sure that this man will settle me after I serve to him. I don't even know him, please God help me to make it ooo. Well, am still going to stay for a test with him for one month. If I don't like him I will return to my parent's house. "I said to myself". my phone vibrated, I looked at the screen. Hiaa!!! this one my ex-girlfriend is calling me today. Who knows what she's up to now, after what she did to me the previous day. Should I even answer this call? "I questioned myself". Mtcheeew!, if she has come again to insult me, I will automatically block her line from getting me again. I reluctantly answered the call.

Ex: Hi Robbie,

Me: what is it this time around?

Ex: calm down babe, you're hash on me naa.

Me: what do you want? (Still Surprised at her polite speech at the moment)

Ex: mmm!, nothing dear, I heard that you're embarking on the journey, so I just called to say bye!. ( The phone hung up without my response).

Hmmm!, Who knows if she has gone to be with that stupid Chiboy that claimed to have money.
